29 November 2006 Blurb
(While talking about viewing stars from our window,) His Royal Highness: Do you know that we can see planets in Singapore (with the naked eye)? Me: Yeah. There's one Lonely Planet on my table now. And then this blog entry has to end abruptly because I died from His Most Esteemed's tickling which led to me having a fatal giggling fit. Can you see into the future?
I wished I could blog while I swim because usually there's nothing to do but er, swim. The mind wanders and I begin to think of many many things which I could blog about to spice this place up. It's funny how I have so many things to say, but when I'm sitting in front of the computer, nothing substantial seems to come out. Anyways, I wanted to blog yesterday because it was the 28th November. I could still remember the mixed feelings I had one year ago before I left for Nan. Funny how things turned out. I hope this year's OCIP trip will be smooth and the participants will enjoy it as much as I have. On the other hand, I've been busy planning for my NZ trip with my dad. Every night we spent like 3-4 hours planning. It doesn't seem like a difficult thing to do - planning what to do, the sights to see, the places to stay. But the process of it is so time consuming and frustrating! I will be spending 17 nights in NZ, of which 3 nights have been accounted for and I am staying 2 nights at Queenstown. That means, my family and I will be staying at 14 different motels in all. On average, we enquire about 3 motels in one area, that means I'll have to send close to 50 emails. Not counting car rentals, cruises, and the ferry from North to South island. So many things to do and so little time. Plus, I'm a worrier, I worry too much. Thats my bad. But its all good for now, its comforting to know that at least I'll be having the time of my life when I'm there ( I hope). 26 November 2006 After accidentally knocking my head with an umbrella, "Ai, thank goodness exams are over. No need to use your brain anymore." 25 November 2006 Be careful when you cross the road
From my dad: "It says here that the minimum age is 12 or 13. That means you can't take the ride!" "We can get cheaper tickets since you're still a child" :S So, the A Levels are FINALLY over. And instead of burying myself in lecture notes and such, im reading up on the Lonely Planet for New Zealand. It's like I never left school. I'll be busy these few days planning for my trip and shopping(: The hols are here! Go out and party! Byebye LTBT, NPT, SALT I, SALT II, INF, START I.... 12 November 2006 Nothing will come of nothing
I'm terribly sorry with the lack of updates-I'm in the midst of my exams and everyday I'm a nervous wreck. I don't deal with stress well, and the exams are just killing me. I have five more papers left before ultimate freedom! This week has been insane. I am SO worried for maths but whats done is done. And I'm SO worried. SO worried. I don't remember being on such an emotional roller coaster during my O levels... Anyway, since I was really young, I will come up with a list of things to do after the exams during the exams. And I do it year after year. I know it sounds corny. But this year, I haven't come up with any list of sorts. And the other day while I was out getting lunch at Northpoint, I observed some workmen putting up decorations. I had to ponder really hard and search deep within my brain before I realised that CHRISTMAS is coming. I completely did not realise we are near Christmas. Now, how sad is that? So in keeping up with past traditions, here's my attempt at creating another list:
Ahem. Back to the studying): Oh. I have this really cool bruise above my knee. I love bruises >_< PS: I just realised I have the same blog entry with the same title from a while back. |
