I'm not sure if it's just a Singaporean thing. But why oh why, do people insist on ruining traditional mooncakes? There are so many flavours out in the market nowadays and some of them are just totally ridiculous. Do we really need Mocha flavoured mooncakes? Or flavours like Champagne? And worst of all, Tiramisu? It's all so weird! I do know that it's all a bid to earn more money during th period but gosh, mooncake flavours are getting so disgusting! And worst of all, Singaporeans are actually snapping these mooncakes up, resulting in an even higher demand to create even more ridiculous flavours for the next season. Singaporeans People are ruining the true essence of "Zhong Qiu Jie"! I'll just continue eating my plain ol' Lotus Paste(: Not that I'm eating too much for one mooncake=1000 calories. And since mooncakes are particularly "heaty", I'm *trying* to keep away from them so that I won't fall sick that easily. Anyways, I'm quite a hypocrite myself, I love eating Harbour City Restaurant's Moontarts. They are like small versions of mooncakes (no not those mini mooncakes) but aren't exactly traditional.
My family is CRAZY over those Moontarts. Year after year we just buy a few boxes of these(:

I'm getting demoralised over my Prelim results. Sure, it's just the prelims, no big deal yada yada. I always thought I'll have no problem getting into a local university. No, I'm not being arrogant. I have always envision myself to end up in a local university after my A Levels. And now, my results are scaring me. Yes, I'm really afraid that I'll fucked up and end up with no where to go. Mom's always saying that there are many roads to take if I can't make it, like other private schools in Singapore. But gosh, I don't think I can take the stench of failure. It would be so embarrasing if I failed my A Levels! I've chosen this road and even though with every day, I realised that perhaps I'm not suited for JC, but there's no turning back. I don't want to waste two years of my life! Dad has hinted that he may be able to send me overseas but I don't want to study overseas just because I can't make it here. And I wouldn't want to put a financial strain on my family. And it isn't fair, if His Royal Highness can't study overseas, what gives me the right to? And I'm a homey person (right yiwen?), I don't think I'll survive years overseas even though I do want to study overseas. Sigh. All this doesn't matter now anyway. I need to focus but god, I can't seem to focus. And I don't understand so many things! I start panicking, resulting in me not being able to understand anything and I panic even more. It's a vicious cycle. And its crazy with me worrying and putting unnecessary pressure on myself. Damn.

There's new Grey's. Hopefully that will cheer me up.
