going bananas over banana
I'm currently listening to Jason Mraz on Power98 and I want to shoot myself for not going for his concert tomorrow night. The tickets are sold out): Anyways, his voice is just so sexy(: I can only content with downloading live tracks and videos. Sigh.
And you know what else is so sexy?
ERIC BANANA!
I caught Munich last night with his royal highness and boy am I glad. The movie wasn't fantastic fantastic but it was really good(: What struck me first was the brutality of the murders. Eric Bana's character Avner and his team started out as newbies and their methods of assassination was plain juvenile and er, rather funny. Lol, I'm not sadistic btw. But the more they kill, the more it becomes more violent. It's at this point that I understand why the movie is rated M18.
There were3 4 scenes that were really memorable. Spoilers ahead if you intend to catch the movie.
First was the scene where Avner and team took revenge by killing a Dutch lady for murdering their team mate. The way she died was just plain gross. I'm really too lazy to describe it but Avner showed a certain amount of respect for the lady even though he lost a friend through her and that touched me a little.
Second was the scene where Avner was arguing with this Palestinian fighter, although his true identity was unknown to the Palestinian. This scene was memorable as it shows well the importance of home for the homeless Palestinians. And its the main reason why the conflicts have been going on for so so long. The scene was really intense.
Third was the scene where Avner gets paranoid because he himself is being hunted for killing the Palestinians, a Russian KGB spy etc. And is also a period where he has lost 3 of his team mates. Avner starts looking for bombs in his room by cutting up the mattress, dismantling the tv, phone etc. [All methods which the team used to assassinate the Palestinians] The haunted look on Avner's face is quite scary. And the idea itself is rather Karma-ish.
Forth was at the ending when it shows how the Israeli athletes were killed. That scene was just violent and also downright sad.
Ok, I really love this movie even though it isnt THAT good. Also, I'm quite disgusted that its rating was 7.7 on IMDb compared to Brokeback's 8.0 because honestly, Brokeback isnt good at all. Anyways, I'm biased(:
Oh, I'm positive that I'm attracted to Eric Bana's curls.
No larh, he's just really sexy in the film. You gotta catch it before it runs out real soon.
And you know what else made me enjoy the film? Nobody stopped me to ask for my IC! I LOOK EIGHTEEN! *dances around*(: Ok maybe not, because his royal highness was saying that they are too lazy to check because its one of the last few shows of the day. [It was at 9.15pm and I was watching at GV Grand] But look, I notice the usher or the-guy-who-tears-your-tickets-at-the-entrance was looking at me intently and I could tell that he was debating in his mind whether I was eighteen or not, and he decided that I was! I finally look my age! WOOHOO! *dances around somemore* (:(:(:

It's Lent and I told myself that I will swear less during this season and basically be a more patient and understanding person. But it has been only like 7 days and I probably said enough fucks in a day to last me a month. And then I procrastinate by saying I'll start over again the next day. Argh I dont understand whats the point in exercising restraint when we start bickering at the slightest thing at home. Its too fucking fake.

to nowhere
Before I could even update announcing that I changed my template, yao hui tagged(: Lol, so anyways, this picture was taken on the road down from Ban Nam Ree, in Nan, Thailand. I can still remember the four hour long trip in the large tuk tuk/truck, it was just a neverending view of gorgeous hills and the skyline, with the sunlight streaming in. It was just breathtaking. I love taking pictures of roads. And I love this picture, with the slightly unintentional blurry effect on the left. I'm still not feeling the colour scheme though, but then, it usually takes a long time for me to get used to it. We'll see(:

a little bit of something
I love Fridays, only because its the beginning of the weekend(: Went towning today after school. I havnt been to town in a long time, like since... last saturday(: Well, it doesnt seem that long after all. It's like this ritual that we absolutely have to go town after class every Friday. Perks got her figurines again :S And then she had to leave her file behind in Kino and 3 of us plus Jia Ling had to go back to get it. Cleavon abandoned us again, as usual. Oh, whats really funny is that Cleavon actually recognised Macduff from the Macbeth play the very instant he saw the ad for the Cleo's Most Eligible Bachelor.
Tomorrow, I'm going out again with perks and cleavon to get our Lit done. It's really sad that we have to meet during the weekend in town to do work):
Ok later, I'm really tired and I cant think coherently.
Oh. Walagata decided to stop providing free accounts and all my images arent appearing, including the greenies blog. Any suggestions for image host? I dont really like photobucket, but I might have no choice):

I want to cry because there's only the $68 tickets left for Jason Mraz Concert. I didn't think Mraz is that popular in Singapore lar! The student tickets (at $30) are sold out. The seats for the $68 tickets are really crappy and is completely not worth! I should have booked the tickets earlier! Argh. Germaine wants to go with me but the problem is she don't even know who Mraz is lar. I feel bad asking her to go with me):
I'm really upset that I got b4 for chinese. Yes, I know I shouldnt complain when I passed, but still, I was expecting more even though it wasn't justified - I barely studied for chinese.
I shan't procrastinate anymore. I really gotta clear that huge stack of homework smiling expectantly at me, waiting for me to complete them. And after witnessing the release of the A Level results, I told myself I don't want to be crying when I get my result slip next year. And if I cry, it should be tears of joy(z) :P I wished I had only homework and homework on my mind instead of a whole list of visual arts, open house, family day proposals, SL scrapbook matters to complete.
