reverse psychology

i was on my way home today when i thought of reverse psychology. it all started with cleoy and tongy in sec2. it was so fun talking in opposite. siht ekil. emit eerf hcum oot evah i :) its like when u're really cold, just scream, "im damn hot lar!" or when u're really sleepy, think, "i feel so awake!" so its like, im so damn depressed but im telling myself "im the happiest person on earth" and also, on the way home, i was thinking of stuff i do when i get depressed. i've come to a conclusion that im really weird.

anyways, i was reading his royal highness's blog. he's so going to kill me if he realised. but heck. maybe he reads my blog too. hmm. [hi gor!:)] geez, if he reads my blog, then erm, i should start saying nicer things. lol. i realised that he doesnt blog often, but once he blogs, he blogs ALOT. and his entries are kinda chim lar. stupid geper. and he reads so much lar. stupid geper. haha.

bleaugh. i still cant get the modem in my room or my router working, so no more online days :( im not going to be mean to his royal highness cuz he was super nice and fetched me to and from tuition [although he had other motives]

lit paper was :( haha, i'll fail lear. but i hope i do ok for detective fiction. i went to sleep dreaming of weird detective fiction stuff. haha, this is what happens when u study last minute. gp later so wish me luck.

i seriously wanna order the harry potter book! :) but eh, getting a new phone, so no money. hey, i need an invisibility cloak badly lar. sometimes i wish i'll just become invisible:) isnt it wonderful?

eh rain, i hope u're reading this. im not sure if i can go gc concert anymore, cuz i have chinese oral the next day. and i'll probably lose my voice [like in sp concert :)] and my parents would never allow. unless i dont tell them i've got oral. heh. or unless my bro can get free tix [or pay for me].. well, it all depends i guess..

batman begins

et: i havnt done any shopping lar. at least in sg.

i went johoring for a short short while on monday with my parents, my aunt and my uncle. yes, ADULTS. and all not shopping people. but i managed to get body shop's oceanus body mist:) it was super cheap over there lar! :D

been trying to study the entire day but nothing is getting in. i fell asleep twice while reading history notes on korean war. i guess thats what happens when u "study" on the bed:)

anyways, i caught batman begins on sunday with my dad. and it was super duper cool!! i love christian bale now:) i've never been a fan of superhero movies, but batman is just so human. bruce wayne is just so damn cool lar! haha, i love the show. it answers all your questions on how bruce wayne became batman. the only thing i want to know now is: when is the sequel coming out?!

work attachment is over! LIFE! CIVILISATION! SHOPPING! HERE I COME!!!!!!!

yeah right. >_< i still havnt completed my lear essay. guru is going to KILL me:( im only beginning to work on it now.

im so glad i finally saw the "ready" version of Journey of Faith. its totally cool lar! my favourite painting is probably the one with the Holy Family and St. Matthew with the angel. i loveeeee 'em:) stayed back to help usher. but really, we barely did anything. there seem to be too many ushers around. i got to see a couple of "famous" people. prof tommy koh, minister george yeo, archbishop nicholas chia and erm, dick lee. hahaha. and JOF also marks the end of my work attachment with ACM. karen said she will keep in contact and call us back for future openings and events. i was smiling at her, but my mind was screaming: NO!!!! karen is like the total boss from hell lar. always plonking work on us non-stop. at least andrew is nicer:) its been an enriching experience, but i wouldnt want to do it again. its FREE labour!

sigh, it sucks using my bro's com. i want my router back, so i can use my com. sigh:(

today is the last day or "work". whee! im glad all this is coming to an end. though i still have 9 more hours. i end later today cuz i volunteered to help out in the ushering of the grand opening of JOF [journey of faith] i came in at 9 plus today. but most of the staff only came in at ten plus lar. why did i come in so early? >_<

just now, i had to get a technician to help me out with the com. [he was young and cute:)]he commented we were "poor thing" had to do this kind of work attachment during june hols. i guess he would have thought i was plain stupid lar when he knows that we volunteered for this.

today is my last day. and for some reason, im feeling pretty bitter about the whole work attachment thing.

it has been fun. but its also pretty tiring. commiting 2 whole weeks of your time. i would probably be doing nothing if i didnt come for this attachment. but its like super time consuming? well, i can only say its for the experience. and for me to realise that working is NOT fun at all. esp, when you dont get paid for it. its FREE LABOUR.

ms cathering ng, the teacher in charge of this whole work attachment thingy is coming down later to film us. she wants to think of some STORY to film. like HELLO? we are slogging here, not playing you know. what story can there be???? she's so retarded. our school is retarded. apparently, the video is to aid us presenting during mass civics. geez >_< its so FAKE to act in front of a camera for something like this.

blogging in the museum and alan is reading this. hi alan! :) today is more library work which is kinda fun lar. i think scanning all the barcodes thingy is so fun lar! haha, i've never did it in my life. ok wait, i sound totally sua ku now [like somebody who lives in a cave with a yellow[?] pond beside it;)] i have a presentation on wednesday. sigh. its suppose to be one hour long but im pretty sure it will end in 30 mins cuz we got barely any stuff to present lar. and there's going to be like 4 or 5 adults attending to see our presentation. not just andrew. oh dear, i hope we dont screw up.

i just got back from pw discussion. it was at the usual place - paragon coffeebean. seriously, coffeebean should give us special offers 'cause we're always patronising them when we're there lar. ci was as usual 45 mins late >_< i was the earliest even tho i ended my maths tuition late and had to rush there. i hope ci types out the survey questions or if not, im going to threaten to let out his secret! [hah!]

lol. i had to chase away my dad cuz he was reading over my shoulder. and he was quoting me, "i wanna try another cable to see if the router really CONKED" lol. i had to chase him away lar.

i just found out that my cousins and i all shared the same crib. thats right, hwee khoon, wei hao, jun wei, and his royal highness and i. by the time the crib comes to me, it's at least eight years old lar. its kinda weird to me lar, my baby cousins have like tons of baby stuff now. cribs/prams/strollers... my mom's answer when i asked her how come she didnt get a crib for me at that time was simply, "u need it for what?!" haha, im just amazed that one crib can be passed around the entire family for so long.

thinking back in my parents' time, they probaby cant afford a crib. babies sleep in those cot like thingys hanging from the ceiling. my grandma's house [which is really old] has something hanging down from the ceiling where you can hang a spring, and then a sarong below it. those springy stuff were really fun lar. when i was young, jun wei [he's older than me by 5 years] and i used to hold it and jump around when it wasnt in use and no adults were looking.

ahhh, sweet childhood memories.

surprisingly, i just realised that i can change my phone in about 20 days. for some weird reason, im not that excited as i was 3 months ago. its most likely going to be a nokia phone. i cant afford the sony ericsson k750i or the w800i either.

just got back. dead tired and itchy. i've been having rashes since friday [ one of the reasons why i skipped "work"] its absolutely disgusting. i just want to curl up in bed and hide under my blanket/pillows.

but chalet was fun:) i guess i could blame myself for the sudden outbreak of rashes lar. cuz:
1) i spent the whole of thursday with old, dusty books that belong to the curators. the dust made my face really itchy.
2) i spent more than 2 hours in the pool. the chlorine and my sunburnt killed my skin
3) i ate seafood. actually, prawn paste to be more exact. come on, i couldnt resist my grandma's killer rojak ok? ;)
4) i played marathon badminton with my cousins yong and cheryl, my dad and my aunt. i get itchy when i scratch.
5) i was hanging around near the barbecue pit area. the smoke did it i guess.
6) sleeping in air con rooms dries my skin.
haha, i dont know why im coming up with this list. looking at it, my skin is really sensitive eh? i should just stay at home to hide from everything.

i suddenly love badminton so much lar. although, im pretty sucky at it. yong practically killed me. he was making me run around lar! but well, he's good:) and playing mahjong with kids around is a total challenge. u never know when darryl will run up, snatch the tiles and run away. and bel slowed the game down by insisting that she had to use her minnie mouse to take the tiles for us >_< im glad my aunt whisked them away to the playground soon. ok, im going out again soon. later.

in the library

i will be librarian today and tmr. today was quite slack lar, me alone, in my own room, on the 4th floor [where barely anybody comes] to do my own stuff. ken, the librarian, doesnt check on me at all. so really relax today. however, i have to push trolleys of SO MANY BOOKS up and down the galleries. quite awkward as got so many tourists starring at me =/ but it was fun. haha. my job today was to paste the barcode on the museum library books. it doesnt sound so simple, 'cause i have to change the old records, and then have to collect books from the staff. the curators have the MOST books lar. its scary. they have shelves and shelves and shelves of books. i only managed to add barcodes to books belonging to THREE curators. i dont know whether im super inefficient, or that there's just so many books! [in total about hundred plus lar]

i managed to meet yip, yiwen and jia ling for lunch. went back to the museum like 30 minutes late. ken was about to come upstairs to find me[library is on the 2nd floor] lol:)

so far, i think being a librarian is the funnest experience in acm. all the scanning of books. i also say this cuz ppx and alan have to make flowcharts over the acm's SOP [standard of procedure] its is 77 pages long lar! i will die if i have to do that:S so go ppx and alan! :)

easy way out

currently at work. oops, i meant "work". its been 3 days since i started working here. kinda fast, although i cant wait for it to finish. i have to ask myself so many times why i took part in this. it take up HALF of my holidays. i have effectively one more week for shopping and chilling out[and studying but whatever!] its not that i hate the job, it just takes up too much of my time, from 9-6.30 monday to friday. im tired already and its only day 3.

my "boss" andrew, is rather nice. at least he's honest with us. and he seems really supportive. the staff here are all basically quite nice. but some have AP lar. and for some weird reason, they highly discourage us to come for this work attachment, its like really discouraging. well its too late to pull out.

today all we did was to observe the visitors in the museum. and their reactions towards the exhibits, touch screens, etc. its been really tiring stalking them 24/7, while trying not to be too obvious. after that, we're suppose to work on a report, what im suppose to do now, but im happy typing this out :)

and ppx didnt come today! leaving just me and alan. im thankful that he's really nice:) ok later, must try to finish the report by today...

land of smiles :)

hello! im blogging from my hotel. the rates here is kinda ex? at 100 baht for 15 mins. thats about S$4.

i reached bangkok at about 3pm local time. [thats 4pm singapore time] went shopping immediately at MBK, a shopping centre. my mom was reluctant to buy 2 fcuk shirts for me. cuz she thought it was kinda vulgar. it didnt help with a little boy beside us chanting "fcuk, fuck!" >_< haha:)

shopping with my parents is really a pain in the ass. but im trying to put myself in their shoes and be more patient and understanding. seriously, i dont think i get along well with my parents at all:( oh well, i hope things get better tmr. after all, we came to bangkok cuz i was always raving about how great the shopping was here. so yeah. joyz, be more understanding!!!

my feet ache from all the walking. haha, but i dont really care.

the thais here are generally nice. they were really helpful. ok, maybe not. we were at the BTS skytrain asking for directions. and we were told the wrong direction TWICE. thank goodness i read the map. maybe cuz the way i pronounced a certain name is not the way the thais pronounce it and theres a communication breakdown? but the thais are really friendly. thai language is kinda musical and soothing. lol, its the kind of thing i want to hear the first thing i wake up and not my mom's yelling which put me in a bad mood immediatly.

erm, i bought like 3 pairs of sandles le. haha, and i still wanna buy sneakers! and clothes!

was at the suan lum night bazaar just now. that place is like an oven. freaking hot! its also a pub area. but my dad was like "no drinking" so darn, i wanna drink lar. its not that im an alcoholic freak but rather that its kinda fun drinking when u're sort of underage? i bet when i turn 18 in half a year, i wouldnt even give a hoot about drinking anymore.

leaving on a jetplane

currently at the air port. waiting for my flight. i have 1 hour plus to kill... the computers here are so slow! no complains tho, i guess im just not used to it.

kinda excited:) whee! i feel kinda silly cuz i left the house without bringing something really important! heh. feel silly all over again. im such a klutz.

im hoping that the hotel is ok 'cause i read from some forums that its kinda old and that its [ahem!] haunted. haha, ive no idea. and i dont even want to think about it. God will protect my entire family! :)

i seriously cant wait to get on the plane. hope my ears dont drive me nuts!=/

im going shopping immediatly after i land and check in to the hotel. we're going MBK. this super mega shopping centre. i cant wait actually. i told my dad i want to buy 3 pairs of sneakers! heh:D

i'll try to update later. im staying at Asia Hotel. and theres suppose to be a cyber cafe ther.

i didnt take my cert in the end. spent the entire day at home. i watched alexander. my brother said it was a flop [was it?] hmm, its only a so-so film. LOTR is still the best epic film out there with the best battles ever in ROTK. but Alexander had COLIN FARRELL in it! *gets excited* i love colin farrell:D

so anyways, i'll be flying off in about 12 hours time. my flight is at 12.50pm. but i'll be at the airport earlier. his royal highness [my brother] is taking time off to drive us there. but he cant be away from work for so long so we're going early to the airport. i dont mind tho, i love airports:) i might be able to blog at in the airport. hopefully i can!:)

im going to miss all you guys for the next 4 days! i'll be back on sunday ard midnight. no wait, thats monday le. then i'll go for my work attachment. im really looking forward to it:) ive auto roam, so msg me k?

im reading more on bangkok and some of the stuff freaks/amuses me.
